Muddy Paw was founded in 2010 when Winemaker, Ed Trebets was employed at Debonne Vineyards. Every winemaker has goals of having their own brand and label. Ed and his wife, Gina, also wanted a purpose-driven brand where they could give back to the community. This is how Muddy Paw was born. They teamed up with the Geauga Humane Society’s Rescue Village where they save and rehabilitate animals who are in need. Part of the proceeds from each bottle goes back to Rescue Village which helps with the purchase of food and other needs the animals may have.

 

The Cabernet Sauvignon and the Semillon were the first labels created. Two more labels were just released called Paisley White and Trigger Rouge. Two more dog labels will be released by year’s end which is: Benny Blush – an off dry Rose, and Archie Blanc – a sauvignon blanc. Proceeds from all six of these labels will go back to Rescue Village.
